Hopkins 12,000lbs RhinoRamps
Key Features
This week's product is the RhinoRamps® from FloTool by Hopkins. With a 12,000-pound rating for the pair of ramps, these bad boys are up for any job We also carry RhinoRamps® with a capacity rating of up to 16,000 lbs!! The ramps are designed with a Heavy-duty resin construction, which gives them a Strong as Steel™ superstructure.
They also have a wide platform, so that they can even get larger size tires up onto the ramps. They have a 17-degree angle on the front, which is great for vehicles with low ground clearance – this will avoid scraping the undercarriage. Another great safety feature they have, is integrated Core-Trac™ non-skid feet, to reduce sliding during use!
The RhinoRamps® are also nestable. Their space saving design means more room for you in the shop, and who doesn’t love a product that’s both functional and efficient!?
Safety
When you’re using ramps, it’s good to keep a few safety precautions in mind:
- Make sure you are on a flat / level surface
- Make sure you’re using the right ramps for the weight of your vehicle
- Try to stay away from wet, slippery or soft surfaces – also make sure the surface is clean
- Once the vehicle is up on the ramp, make sure to use wheel chocks on the back tires to prevent rolling
